Firth of Lorn and the Sound of Mull
Hello Saganauts,
Another fabulous week at sea, with the weather now in full cooperation. Today were we in Firth of Lorn and the Sound of Mull. What a beautiful spot especially under sunny skies.
The morning was a bit foggy but once the sun did its magic we were treated to an incredible day, filled with wildlife sightings, castles and stunning scenery. It is located on Scotland’s west coast, on the eastern shore of Loch Linne and the Firth of Lorn. Duart castle, one of many on the Isle if Mull was very imposing. The castle dates back to the 13th century!
There was an abundance of wildlife seen through the day from eagles to red deer, seals and Dolphins! We even managed to stop and get a look at Tobermory, known for its single malt Scotch whisky, castles, beaches and wildlife! An unforgettable day! Thanks to our photographer today, 2nd Officer Adam McCarthy for the great photos.
