River Levels - 19th August 2026

We are continuing to monitor water levels and sailing conditions across the Rhine, Moselle and Danube, reviewing each departure individually to ensure we can deliver the exceptional river cruise experience our guests expect from Saga.  

As conditions can vary from one cruise to another, we are carefully assessing each itinerary and considering all available options before making any decisions.

Should low water levels mean we are unable to operate your original cruise itinerary, we are currently offering a selection of alternative river cruises on the Dutch Waterways, the Main River and parts of the Danube. Wherever possible, we will retain your original flight arrangements and avoid lengthy transfers, helping to make any changes as seamless as possible.

Importantly, we will not turn your river cruise into a coach holiday. The ship will be sailing and will remain at the heart of your holiday experience, allowing you to continue enjoying the onboard atmosphere, attentive service and facilities that make a Saga River Cruise so special.

Whichever itinerary you travel on, you can look forward to the same warm welcome, excellent dining, enriching experiences and exceptional onboard service that define a Saga River Cruise.

If we do need to amend your holiday, we will contact you directly in departure date order to discuss the options available and help you choose the one that is right for you.
