Spirit of the Lorelei
Meet our newest boutique river ship, launching in 2027
We are very excited to invite you to join Spirit of the Lorelei, our fourth purpose-built river ship, as she sets sail for the first time in July next year. Carefully designed with our guests in mind, she will offer the same high level of bespoke design as her boutique sister ships, Spirit of the Rhine, Spirit of the Danube and Spirit of the Moselle.
The next chapter in our journey

This new addition represents the next chapter in our journey and it’s incredibly exciting to see our fleet grow in such a meaningful way.

Inspired by legend
Spirit of the Lorelei takes her name from the famous Lorelei rock formation, located in the UNESCO-recognised Upper Middle Rhine Valley.
Inspired by the myths and romantic legends that surround the Rhine, Spirit of the Lorelei will also draw on the heritage of the Grand Tour to influence her design.
The Grand Tour was undertaken by young aristocratic Europeans, as a way to round off their classical education, with travellers often sailing up the Rhine towards Basel.
Contemporary interiors
Spirit of the Lorelei’s library will feature an attractive botanical theme shaped by the works of 19th-century artist, Marianne North. Marianne travelled the world, painting the exotic plant life she encountered – a wide selection of which is now on permanent display in Kew Gardens.
Look forward to unwinding in the North Lounge which will be accented with earthy oranges and warm greens, before enjoying dinner in either the main Panorama restaurant or The Laurel, the ship’s speciality restaurant.
Her construction is underway
Spirit of the Lorelei’s construction has begun in Serbia. Watch her keel laying ceremony take place, a long tradition that involves placing a coin under her keel, and which marks the first milestone in the story of her construction.
