The capital of La Palma, Santa Cruz, was a hub for New World explorers and merchant traders during the Age of Exploration. This history is reflected in the 16th-century Castilian architecture and the old quarter with its wooden balconies and cobbled lanes.

Tenerife is home to Spain's tallest volcano, Mount Teide. Just over 20 miles from Santa Cruz, in the heart of the island, you will find Teide National Park, the largest and oldest of the Canaries' four national parks.
Funchal, Madeira
During a cruise to the Canary Islands, you may have the opportunity to visit Madeira and its capital Funchal. Often described as the ‘floating garden in the Atlantic’, the island is home to a vast laurel forest and Botanical Gardens where exotic, indigenous plants grow.

Cruising is the perfect time to indulge relax and unwind, letting our wonderful crew take care of you. You could lounge in the sun on the Lido Deck, or visit the soothing Spa for free, where heated loungers, a 200-square-feet hydrotherapy pool, steam room and infrared sauna await you.
Or, perhaps before a formal night, why not head to the Salon to be pampered by our team of hairdressers and beauticians?

There are plenty of opportunities to stay active on sea days. You could head to the Fitness Centre to enjoy a workout using high-tech equipment, take part in traditional deck games or practice your swing in The Bunker, our digital golf simulator!
For a more low-impact activity, enjoy a stroll with view around the Promenade Deck – four laps equals a mile. We organise a sociable mile walk around this deck every morning.
