Jayne Torvill OBE and Christopher Dean OBE
Jayne Torvill OBE and Chris Dean OBE are world famous for winning gold at the 1984 Winter Olympics with their iconic ice dance routine to ‘Bolero’, receiving scores that have never been matched.
Paired as an ice dance couple in 1975, they won their first trophy in 1976 and never looked back as they became British champions multiple times, then European champions and finally World champions. Jayne and Chris have toured the world with their own ice dance shows, and reached a new generation of fans as coaches and judges on the ITV series ‘Dancing On Ice’.
They will bring their ‘Our Last Dance’ 50th anniversary tour to the UK in Spring 2025 before retiring from skating. During this cruise Jayne and Chris will tell you about their careers as the world’s top ice dance skaters and there will also be an opportunity for you to ask them your burning questions about the world of ice dancing.

Journalist and broadcaster Dame Jenni Murray
Dame Jenni Murray was educated in Barnsley and at Hull University. She joined the BBC in 1973. From local radio she went to regional television in Southampton then to Newsnight in London. She joined Radio 4’s Today in 1985 and Woman’s Hour in 1987, where she stayed for 33 years. She’s the author of several books and writes a weekly column for The Daily Mail, a monthly one for Saga magazine and dabbles in radio, television, and podcasts. During this cruise Jenni will give two talks and join a Q&A.
Journalist and broadcaster Paul Lewis
Paul Lewis has been a freelance financial journalist and broadcaster since 1986. He has presented Money Box on Radio 4 since 2000 and appears on many other radio and television programmes. Paul writes regularly for Saga Magazine, Radio Times, Financial Times, Daily Telegraph, i-newspaper and Money Marketing. His book Money Box was published in 2023 and he has won numerous awards for his. Paul will give two on-board talks during this cruise.
Editorial Director of Saga Magazine, Louise Robinson
Louise started her career on the Express and Echo in Exeter over 35 years ago. She then moved to Fleet Street and worked on the news and features desks of The Daily and Sunday Express, before being appointed Editor of S Magazine, the Sunday Express colour supplement, where she spent 15 very happy years. She took the helm of Saga Magazine, the UK’s bestselling subscription magazine, four years ago, and the interaction she enjoys with her wonderfully engaged readers, who are all over 50, has made it the most enjoyable role of her career so far. Louise is never happier than taking cruises with her family (she has been on more than 50!) and one of the many, many great things about being at Saga is access to their two beautiful ships. During this cruise Louise will join an on-aboard Q&A session.
Presenter, author and journalist Diana Moran, AKA The Green Goddess
Diana Moran is television’s original fitness guru, the Green Goddess. One of the original presenters to launch BBC Breakfast Television in 1983, she spearheaded the fitness awareness of the 80’s. Diana is an all-round television and radio personality with a career that has spanned four decades. For over four years she wrote a weekly page in The Lady Magazine, and was an agony aunt on The Wireless, a DAB radio station for grownups. Diana has published 16 health related books and has appeared in many fitness videos and DVDs. In 2019 Diana was thrilled to receive the B.E.M in the Queen’s Birthday Honours Awards for her dedicated lifelong work with charities. Diana will give four on-board talks during this cruise.
Mr Motivator
Enjoy on-board exercise classes and talks from inspirational television celebrity and fitness guru Derrick Errol Evans MBE, aka Mr Motivator.
Jamaican-born Derrick rose to fame in 1993 through appearances on breakfast television show GMTV, where he performed live fitness sessions and offered advice to viewers. Derrick is renowned for his unique and colourful attire.
Phil Vickery
Celebrity chef, presenter and cookery book author Phil Vickery has been part of the This Morning family for over 20 years. Phil began his career as a Commis Chef at The Burlington Hotel in Folkestone and worked his way up the ranks to become Head Chef at The Castle Hotel in Taunton, where he won a Michelin star.
Phil’s first television appearance came after he was invited to fill in for Keith Floyd on the Breakfast Programme and since then he has appeared on Ready Steady Cook, Phil Vickery’s Pudding Club and Save Money, Good Diet for which Phil also wrote an accompanying cook book.
Phil is also a leading authority on gluten-free products and the National Food Ambassador for Coeliac UK, plus food for a diabetic diet. He has written 17 books on many subjects from pork to game, to desserts, food for diabetics and more.
Phil will give a culinary demonstration and take part in a Q&A on board.
Kevin Woodford
Kevin rose to fame on the BBC's cookery shows Ready steady cook and Can't Cook Won't Cook. Even before Kevin became a household name though, he was taking the culinary world by storm, training in some of the world's finest restaurants and judging international culinary competitions.
Kevin's television career was launched after he caught the ear of a BBC producer whilst chatting on BBC Radio Sheffield. His famously relaxed yet passionate style has seen him present a wide variety of shows, including: Heaven and Earth; Big Kevin, Little Kevin; Reality Bites and Surprise Chefs; as well as numerous guest and cameo appearances.
Kevin will give a ‘can’t cook, won’t cook’ masterclass on board and will also join a Q&A session.
