Lisbon City Tour

In this coastal capital city, you’ll first get the chance to gaze at the iconic Belem Tower, a Moorish fortification on the banks of the Tagus River. More widely known as the Tower of Saint Vincent, learn about this intricate building and its representation of the story of the Portuguese Age of Discovery. You will also pass the Monument to the Discoveries, an impressive 170-foot stone statue. There are many examples of religious architecture from the town’s heyday, such as the Santa Maria Main Church, the Misericórdia Church, the Church of São Pedro, and the Pillory, and beyond the walls, the Aqueduct and the Senhor Jesus da Pedra Sanctuary.
