On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.
This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.
Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.
When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.
Cruise to the Canaries archipelago
Island hop from the picturesque scenery of Madeira to the Canary Island chain on this all-inclusive cruise in 2027 aboard Spirit of Adventure. Arriving at the greenest of the Canaries, La Palma, admire the dramatic volcanic scenery swathed in large tracts of laurel forests. While La Gomera is believed to be where Christopher Columbus readied his ships for New World adventures and the manor Pozo de la Aguada displays exhibits on the explorer’s expeditions. In Gran Canaria, where almost half of the island has been declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the subtropical capital of Las Palmas features cafe-lined squares and charming courtyards. Its oldest sights can be seen in a trio of historic neighbourhoods: San Antonio, Triana and Vegueta.
Continue to Lanzarote and its peaceful capital Arrecife, which features whitewashed fishermen cottages and a 17th-century church set around a coastal lagoon. From here perhaps explore the crater-studded landscapes of Timanfaya National Park. On the return journey, look forward to seeing the iconic landmarks of Portugal’s capital city Lisbon. It boasts two UNESCO-listed sites: Jeronimos Monastery, where Vasco da Gama is entombed and Bélem Tower, built in his honour.

One of the oldest remaining structures is the stone Torre del Conde tower which protected the wife of the island’s first governor, Hernan Peraza, when ill-treated islanders rebelled in 1488.
