On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.
This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.
Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.
When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.
Explore unique landscapes and historic capital cities
April is an ideal time to admire the floral displays and botanical garden of Madeira, before cruising to the main islands of the Canaries, which are blessed with year-round sunshine. Contrast the verdant scenery of La Palma, the greenest of the Canary Islands, with the varied scenery of Tenerife, home to black sand beaches and lava fields. In the capital Santa Cruz, historic sights sit alongside modern attractions, including the auditorium, an expressionist structure that resembles a wave.
In Gran Canaria, perhaps explore the historic neighbourhood of Vegueta in the capital Las Palmas or visit the picturesque, white-washed town of Puerto de Mogán. While the peaceful capital of Lanzarote, Arrecife, features a coastal lagoon surrounded by traditional fishermen cottages and a 17th-century church. To see some of the island’s unusual crater-studded landscapes head to Timanfaya National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
This all-inclusive Canary Island cruise in 2027 concludes with a visit to 3,000-year-old Cádiz, Western Europe’s oldest continually inhabited city since its founding by the ancient seafaring Phoenicians. Landmark sights here include the Baroque and neoclassical cathedral and the adjoining El Sagarario, the Roman amphitheatre, Castillo de Santa Catalaina and the Torre Tavira – one of 129 watchtowers dotted throughout the city.
