How our discounts work

On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.

This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.

Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.

When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.

Explore Vienna and a host of picturesque riverside cities

This all-inclusive Danube river cruise in 2025 starts in Vienna, where you have time to explore independently and on an included excursion that will reveal the highlights of Austria’s elegant capital by coach and on foot. Following a full day in Vienna, spend a morning cruising the Upper Danube to Krems. From here, enjoy an included excursion to Göttweig Abbey, founded in 1083 by the Bishop of Passau.

Continue cruising, taking in the UNESCO-listed landscape of the scenic Wachau Valley, known for its vineyards, monasteries and castle ruins. Spend an afternoon in the historic town of Melk, famed for its Benedictine abbey, then sail overnight to Linz. A full day in this diverse city provides the perfect opportunity to stroll the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, passing the baroque-style buildings and main square.

Sail overnight into Germany to spend a full day in the historic city of Passau, set at the confluence of the Danube, the Ilz and the Inn rivers. Set out on foot to discover the highlights, such as the baroque St Stephen's Cathedral and the old and new Bishop's Palaces.

Following an overnight sailing, awaken in Regensburg for an included morning walking tour of the city. There are many fine examples of Romanesque and Gothic architecture to be seen in the UNESCO-listed old part.
