Day 2 Vienna 🎧

Enjoy an included half-day tour of Vienna, the legendary city of the Hapsburgs for 600 hundred years. Your tour includes a drive around the Ringstrasse, a wide avenue encircling the old city, taking in all its historic buildings, including the magnificent State Opera House.
Tonight, a traditional three-course Austrian dinner will be served at the atmospheric Augustinerkeller restaurant, which is located in one of the monastery cellars of Vienna's Old Town.
Day 3 Vienna 🎧

Enjoy a day at leisure in Vienna, or join an optional excursion to Schönbrunn Palace. This evening, after dinner on board, take in an included concert. You’ll travel to the baroque Palais Auersperg or one of Vienna’s other impressive palaces near the Ringstrasse, for a concert featuring music by Mozart and the Strauss family.
Day 4 Vienna to Dürnstein 🎧

Spend a final morning at leisure in Vienna before embarking Amadeus Royal later this afternoon.
Begin your cruise along the Danube to Dürnstein as you enjoy a welcome reception and dinner on board tonight.
Day 5 Dürnstein to Melk 🎧

Spend part of the morning in Dürnstein, set in the beautiful Wachau valley beneath the ruined Kuenringer Castle where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned during the late 12th century. Set sail to Melk where you'll have the opportunity to visit its Benedictine Abbey.
Depart Melk during dinner and cruise through the night to Passau.
Day 6 Passau 🎧

This morning you’ll arrive in Passau, from where you can join an optional tour of Salzburg. Alternatively, spend the afternoon exploring Passau, 'Venice of Bavaria', on an optional city walk. Passau is set at the meeting point of three rivers – the Danube, Inn and Ilz, and surrounded by wooded hills.
Amadeus Royal departs late tonight.
Day 7 Linz 🎧

Enjoy the morning in Linz, exploring independently. Your ship departs during lunch and cruises overnight towards Bratislava.
Day 8 Bratislava 🎧

This morning you arrive in Slovakia's capital, Bratislava.
Spend an enjoyable day exploring the city’s old quarter, overlooked by the massive rectangular castle, and admiring the attractive Hapsburg architecture, independently or on an optional morning city tour. Stroll through ancient cobbled streets to Bratislava Castle for a bird’s-eye view of the city. See the Gothic-style Cathedral, where eleven Kings of Hungary were crowned while Turks occupied their own capital.
Day 9 Bratislava to Esztergom to Budapest 🎧

Your ship departs in the early hours, arriving in Esztergom before breakfast. It is perhaps the most beautiful of the small towns on the Danube Bend, and home to Hungary's largest basilica, the dome of which can be seen for miles. Perhaps explore here and the artistic community of Szentendre on an optional excursion.
Depart at lunchtime and cruise to Budapest, arriving early this evening.
Day 10 Budapest 🎧

Your ship remains moored in Budapest for a full day and overnight stay. This cosmopolitan city is divided by the Danube into Buda and Pest. An included city tour reveals some of the city's highlights, from the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Buda Castle that sits above the river on the west bank, to the impressive Hungarian Parliament buildings in Pest on the east bank.
