How our discounts work

On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.

This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.

Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.

When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.

Explore the capital cities of the Danube…

Contrast the capital cities of Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest as you journey along the Danube during this 7 night, all-inclusive river cruise in 2024.

Discover some of the attractions of Budapest, such as the Hungarian State Opera House, Heroes’ Square and Budapest Basilica, on an included excursion. Visit Esztergom, on the scenic Danube Bend, and Slovakia’s capital city Bratislava, where the cobbled streets lead to the city’s castle. Continue to the historic town of Krems, gateway to the Wachau Valley, and on to Melk, known for its Benedictine Abbey.

Your holiday concludes in Vienna, where an included tour will reveal the Ringstrasse and Opera House.

Joining you on board...

Antiques Roadshow Specialist Wayne Colquhoun (August 22, 2024 departure)

Wayne Colquhoun
After leaving school Wayne went on to become a specialist in the restoration of historic and listed buildings. He has run an art gallery for over two decades and is an independent consultant. Though Wayne specialises in Art Deco, Art Nouveau and the Applied Arts he also has a general knowledge with over 30 years’ experience.

In 2015 Wayne became a specialist on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow. One of the things that Wayne would dearly love to find on the Antiques Roadshow would be a bronze panther by the sculptor Rembrant Bugatti. During your cruise Wayne will give two on-board talks.

Wine expert Oz Clarke (October 24, 2024)

Oz Clarke

Oz Clarke is one of the world’s leading wine experts, whose formidable reputation is based on his extensive wine knowledge and abundant enthusiasm. His passion for the subject dates from his student days at Oxford University, where he won tasting competitions at an early age.

Since then his tasting skills have won him an international reputation, and he is acknowledged as having one of the finest palates of anyone writing about wine today. Oz’s frequent BBC television and radio appearances are broadcast around the world. Before wine took over his life in 1984, Oz was a full-time actor and singer, appearing in West End hit shows such as ‘Evita’, ‘Sweeney Todd’ and ‘The Mitford Girls’, and touring with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Oz will entertain you with two on-board talks during your cruise.
