Dubbed the 'top of Europe', Honningsvåg is encompassed by rugged mountains and the Arctic Ocean. This gateway to the North Cape is home to thousands of reindeer, so if you're lucky, you'll spot a few grazing here before cruising the North Cape. Later on you'll cruise past the North Cape, mainland Europe's northernmost point and where the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans meet.

Set across two islands, connected by bridges at the mouth of the Stor Fjord, Ålesund is a delight to explore and is well placed for trips to the islands of Giske and Godøy. Hike the 418 steps to the top of Aksla, for panoramic views of the town and the distant Sunnmøre Alps.
