A mountaintop Monastery
Visit the sacred mountain of Montserrat where you can admire surroundings views on the 15-minute ascent to the famous mountaintop monastery. Visit the audio-visual centre and taste the local Aromas de Montserrat liquor. If you wish, walk up to the Sanctuary for a close view of the statue.

The cathedral incorporates the remains of a mosque, and many of the old houses bear the coats-of-arms of former aristocratic owners.
