How our discounts work
On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each grade at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected grades. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold. This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare. Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin and grade. When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.-

Porto Santo ⚓
Arrive 0800. Depart 2200.
Madeira's tiny sister isle, Porto Santo, is just seven-and-a-half miles long by four miles wide. The island is sparsely populated, and surprisingly different in its terrain, with one side defined by volcanic folds and the other by golden beaches. In the capital, Vila Baleira, the Christopher Columbus Museum has a maritime history exhibition in the Italian explorer’s former home.
⚓ Land by launch or tender.
Funchal, Madeira
Arrive 0800. Depart 1700. Madeira is a verdant, mountainous island formed from a volcanic eruption and known for its namesake wine. Often described as the ‘floating garden in the Atlantic’, the island is home to the world’s largest laurel forest and Botanical Gardens where exotic indigenous plants grow.
Included excursion
An included panoramic excursion will reveal the scenic highlights of the island.
Optional excursions
Admire panoramic views across Funchal as you ascend to the suburb of Monte by cable car, before visiting the Botanical Gardens, step out onto the glass-bottomed skywalk at Cabo Girao, over Europe’s highest sea cliff, or join a team of local experts for a RIB ride in search of whales and dolphins.

Ponta Delgada, Azores
Arrive 0800. Depart 1700.
Scattered in the North Atlantic Ocean, the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores is made up of nine islands, and Ponta Delgada is the capital of the largest of these, Sao Miguel. Aptly known as ‘Green Island’, Sao Miguel is characterized by its volcanic landscapes – to the east lies geothermal Furnas Lake with its bubbling fumeroles and hot springs, while in the northwest the green and blue crater lakes of Sete Cidades are situated. An included panoramic excursion offers a relaxing way to see more of the scenery.
Included excursion
Admire the coastal scenery and views of the crater lake on an included sightseeing excursion.
Optional excursion
Take in views of Fire Lake, which is set in a volcanic crater before visiting a pineapple plantation to sample the locally produced pineapple liqueur.

Horta, Azores
Arrive 0800. Depart 1700.
Set on Faial, one of the nine far-flung islands of the Azores, Horta is a popular port of call for pleasure yachts sailing across the Atlantic. Exposed tips of underwater volcanoes, the islands of the Azores are known for their natural beauty and whale and dolphin watching opportunities, as the waters that surround them are home to an array of species including blue and humpback whales and bottlenose dolphins.
Optional excursions
The island has a sprinkling of churches and museums to discover, or you could join a trip to the Capelinhos volcano and the dramatic caldeira.

Praia da Vitoria, Azores
Arrive 0800. Depart 1700.
Nestled on the eastern shores of the volcanic island of Terceira, the port town of Praia da Vitoria has a modern marina, long sandy beach and pleasant main square. Nearby, the island’s geologic history can be seen at the Serra do Cume crater and the extinct volcano of Monte Brasil.
