Southampton is the UK's largest cruise port and has been home to the world's finest ships for over a century. Europe's leading port has four cruise terminals spread along two miles of England’s south coast. Plus, it's the traditional home of some of the world’s most famous cruise lines.

Whilst you can sail almost anywhere in the world from here, our cruises from Southampton highlight Continental Europe, the Canary Islands, Scandinavia and the Mediterranean. The port is very close to Southampton airport and is easily accessed from major motorways.

Travelling by train

Southampton Central station is just over an hour from London by train. The station is half a mile away from Dock Gate 10 and one mile from Dock Gate 4, which will take approximately 5-15 minutes in a taxi. Taxis are readily available outside Southampton Central and at all four cruise terminals.

Southampton is the UK’s largest cruise port, with four cruise terminals that welcomed 1.7 million passengers in 2015. Over £40 million has been invested in the dedicated terminals and surrounding infrastructure to give passengers the smoothest experience before and after their cruise.
