How our discounts work
On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each grade at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected grades. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold. This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare. Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin and grade. When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.-

Meander along the scenic Moselle and Saar rivers
Contrast the panoramas of the Saar and Moselle rivers. Journey along the famous Saar Loop and stop in Saarlouis for a walking tour of historic Saarbrücken. Spend a relaxing morning cruising the scenic Moselle before your ship joins the Saar river at Konz. Continue to the medieval city of Saarburg, which nestles beside the Saar river in the shadow of its hilltop castle.

Depart Saarburg, 0700.
Arrive Saarlouis, 1400.
Sail along the Saar Loop, or Great Bend, at Mettlach en route to Saarlouis. Originally built as a fortress town in the 17th century, Saarlouis is named after its founder Louis XVI of France. There’s a pedestrianised walkway that leads to the Great Market where you can see the Grade II-listed Town Hall and baroque-style St Ludwig church.

Depart 1400.
This morning an included excursion visits Saarbrücken, which has a vibrant cultural scene and Baroque architecture. The city’s historic landmarks include the 16th-century stone bridge across the Saar, the Gothic of St Arnual and the 18th-century Saarbrücken Castle.

Arrive 0800. Depart 2330.
After cruising north into Luxembourg you’ll arrive at the town of Grevenmacher. From here an included excursion explores Luxembourg’s capital city, home to the Grand Ducal Palace and 18th-century Bock Casemates network of tunnels.
The city is famed for its medieval fortifications and is overlooked by the Chemin de la Corniche promenade which offers a dramatic panoramic view across the city.

Arrive 1200.
Enjoy the scenery as Amadeus Elegant sails through the attractive vineyard-clad landscapes along the Moselle this morning. The little wine town of Zell is located on one of the most beautiful points on the Moselle, and its favourable position on a loop of the river encourages the vines to prosper. You can see parts of the old walls with the ruins of round and square towers, and old gabled houses.

Depart Zell, 0800.
Arrive Bernkastel-Kues, 1400. Depart 2300.
Continue through the Moselle’s picturesque scenery, passing rolling hills, shaded woodland and attractive towns and villages that cling to the riverbank. Among the vines above the town stand the ruins of Landshut Castle, the one-time seat of the Bishops of Trier.

Arrive 0800.
Trier, the oldest city in Germany, was founded by the Emperor Augustus in 16BC. Many relics of Trier's ancient past survive to this day, including Porta Nigra, a well-preserved Roman city gate.
