How our discounts work

On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.

This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.

Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.

When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.

Enjoy a hotel stay in Vienna, followed by a river cruise

Enjoy a three-night stay at the Savoyen Hotel in central Vienna, with the opportunity to visit some of the city’s landmark sights, such as St Charles’ Church, the Spanish Riding School, The Museums Quarter and the Belvedere Museum, at your leisure. A classical concert by The Vienna Residence Orchestra is included on the second day of your stay. Then, embark on an all-inclusive Danube river cruise in 2026. Following another full day in Vienna, where you have time to explore independently and on an excursion that will reveal the city’s highlights by coach and on foot, spend a morning cruising the Upper Danube to Krems. From here, enjoy an excursion to Göttweig Abbey, founded in 1083 by the Bishop of Passau or opt for a walking tour of Krems, with time at leisure. Continue cruising, taking in the UNESCO-listed landscape of the scenic Wachau Valley, known for its vineyards, monasteries and castle ruins. Spend an afternoon in the historic town of Melk, famed for its Benedictine abbey, then sail overnight to Linz. A morning in this diverse city provides the perfect opportunity to stroll the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, passing the baroque-style buildings and main square.

Spend the afternoon sailing into Germany to spend a full day in the historic city of Passau, set at the confluence of the Danube, the Ilz and the Inn rivers. See some of Passau’s key highlights, such as the late Gothic town hall and St Stephen’s Cathedral, on an included walking tour. Sail overnight to awaken in Regensburg and enjoy an included walking tour of the city. There are many fine examples of Romanesque and Gothic architecture to be seen in the UNESCO-listed old part.
