Sail along narrow Lysefjord, passing the famous Kjerag mountain and Pulpit Rock which towers 604 metres over the water. Also cruise through Karmsund, a narrow channel between Karmoey Island and Haugesund that is only passable by smaller ships.

The Hanseatic city of Bergen has many attractions, including the UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf. Narrow streets climbing away from the waterfront, are lined by interesting shops, colourful half-timbered houses and cobbled stairways. Perhaps take the funicular to the peak of Mount Fløyen for panoramic views of the city and beyond, explore the fish market or seek out the museum relating to the Norwegian composer, Grieg.

Thread your way through the breathtaking Geirangerfjord, rated among the best fjord experiences in the world. On either side of the ship rise sheer granite walls, hung with lush vegetation and if you are lucky you might spot a porpoise breaking the still, cold waters. Continue past the impressive Seven Sisters waterfall to the serene Sunnylvsfjorden, flanked by towering peaks, historic farms and tiny villages. Next, take in impressive views of Strandafjellet Mountain, one of Scandinavia’s greatest skiing locations, and then sail the rarely seen Hjørundfjord and marvel at the majestic views of the snow-capped peaks of the Sunnmøre Alps.
