Admire Norway’s winter scenery
Explore the Hanseatic city of Bergen, cruise into the Arctic Circle and enjoy an overnight visit to Alta, admire fjord and mountain scenery, and perhaps glimpse the Northern Lights on this all-inclusive cruise to Norway in 2027. Bergen boasts a historic waterfront of colourful gabled buildings, easily explored on foot. Its charming old town features cobbled lanes punctuated by attractive squares lined with 17th-century wooden houses. Continue to Ålesund, with its Art Nouveau architecture, and Trøndheim, where you can see Nidaros Cathedral, built on the grave of St Olav, Norway’s patron saint and the Viking king who founded the city.
Cruising north into the Arctic Circle, visit Honningsvåg and enjoy an included excursion to the North Cape, before an overnight visit to Alta, with opportunities to view the magical Northern Lights while on board and during optional excursions. Perched squarely within the Aurora Belt, Tromsø offers further opportunities for exciting winter activities, from dog-sledding to reindeer sledding.
On the return cruise south, stop to explore the idyllic village of Flåm, nestled at the end of the Aurlandsfjord. One of the main highlights here is the historic Flåm railway, dubbed ‘the world’s most beautiful train journey’. The track winds up from the fjord through the Flåm Valley, passing frozen waterfalls along the way.
Included excursion in every port

Its glories past and present are retold in the Polar Museum, a 19th-century wooden warehouse set on the seafront. The city’s setting 69 degrees north of the Arctic Circle also means that it is perched squarely within the Aurora Belt. The biggest draw though is the historic Flåm railway, which winds up from the fjord through the Flåm Valley for over 10 miles to Myrdal station. It is dubbed ‘the world’s most beautiful train journey’ as it passes high above deep ravines, snakes through mountain tunnels high above snow-covered valleys, passing frozen waterfalls along the way.
