On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.
This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.
Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.
When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.

The ancient treasures and cultural sights of Greece are revealed during this 22-night, all-inclusive cruise to the Mediterranean in 2027. Continue cruising to the mountainous Peloponnese peninsula, connected to the mainland of Greece by the Isthmus of Corinth. Discover the charming old town of Nafplion where neo-classical buildings overlook cobbled streets and the harbour is protected by the 15th-century water castle of the Bourtzi. Next, visit a new port for Saga Cruises, Kalamata. Famed for its namesake purple olives, this vibrant city has a charming Old Town with historic lanes and traditional stone churches. Enjoy the taverna-lined waterfront of Katakolon, a seaside town near the UNESCO-listed site of Olympia, one of the world’s most significant archaeological finds. Across the Aegean Sea on the island of Crete, Souda provides a gateway to Chania, which grew up around its 14th-century Venetian harbour.
Venetian influences can also be seen in Malta’s capital Valletta, particularly in the closed timber balconies of the 16th-century Grand Master’s Palace and dotted throughout the city. While the Moroccan port of Tangier traces its roots back to the ancient Greeks, having also been ruled by the Romans and Arabs. Its Medina – the oldest part of town – is a warren of cobbled streets reflecting a chronology of architectural styles charting the city’s colonial history.
