The cosmopolitan city of Belfast has a long association with ship-building, reinforced by the two gantry cranes that rise above the city known locally as ‘Samson and Goliath’! The ill-fated liner Titanic was built here and the visitor attraction ‘Titanic Belfast’ explores the story of the ocean liner through a series of interactive galleries. The city is also home to the Ulster Museum as well as Botanic gardens and central Donegal Square. Further afield lies the famous Giant’s Causeway.
