She’s arrived in the UK!
Now complete, Spirit of Adventure has finally arrived in the UK.
The latest addition to our ocean cruise fleet, she is a beautiful sister ship to Spirit of Discovery. It means Saga now has the youngest fleet in the world, with an average ship age of just six months!
Spirit of Adventure is moored alongside her sister in the Port of Tilbury, near London. She will spend the winter here, before welcoming her first guests aboard for the inaugural cruise in February 2021. As the sun went down on their first day together, Spirit of Discovery’s cabin windows were lit up to spell out a special message "HEY SISTER!"
Nigel Blanks, Managing Director of Saga Cruises, said:
We are absolutely thrilled Spirit of Adventure has arrived in the UK. Over the past two years, we have focused on creating a boutique cruising experience for our guests that is not available elsewhere on the market. With Spirit of Adventure joining our fleet, we now have more choice for our guests with two unique ships that will help make unforgettable memories. We cannot wait for her to welcome her first guests next year to see everything she has to offer.
Spirit of Adventure’s inaugural voyage, an all-inclusive cruise to the Canary Islands, is set for February 5, 2021.
