18th October, 2018

Off Lands End

We are now in sight of Lands End after 6 days at sea where we’ve had to “steer” around the remnants of Hurricane Michael,” weather route” to avoid the higher swell and of course look for sunshine – which we certainly found particularly with the last 3 days being very pleasant indeed. Saga Sapphire is a great seas ship and she proved that once again during some “good” size seas and swell.

As I go on leave I would like to say a huge thank you to all the Staff on Saga Sapphire for the hard work, dedication and the incredible attentive service they provide for all our guests. They have excelled once again on this 28 night voyage “Nova Scotia and St Lawrence in the Fall”.

Tomorrow the 19th October I hand over Command to Captain Stuart Horne and I go on leave, returning the 19th December for the Christmas cruise “Festivities in the Caribbean”.

Bon Voyage!

Captain Julian Burgess
