“After passing through the Gibraltar Straits at 0100 this morning we set course for our 2nd port of call, Malaga. With the pilot on board at 0700 we headed into the harbour and carried out a swift pirouette before moving astern to tie up at the Cruise Terminal closest to town.

With the ship clear and gangways rigged our Guests headed off to sample the delights of the capital of the Costa Del Sol. The word Malaga comes from the Phoenician word “salting place”which was derived from the fish preserving industry at that time. With an excellent choice of morning tours including the Delights of Ronda, Paella & Countryside, Leisurely Malaga & Flamenco and the Vintage Car, Hat and Couture Museum our Guests were spoilt for choice.

Unfortunately I have to leave the ship just before she sails, and am handing over to Captain Kim Tanner, due to my 90 year old Mother being very ill. I hope to return soonest and look forward to more Blogging!!!
