Nieuw Statendam

Launched in December 2018

The Nieuw Statendam is a welcome addition to Holland America Line's fleet of elegant, mid-sized ships. Sister ship to Koningsdam, Nieuw Statendam is the cruise lines second Pinnacle-class ship and her design has been inspired by the fluid curves of musical instruments. You can expect a culinary treat on board with a choice of innovative restaurants, as well as a great range of activities and entertainment to make your on-board experience as enjoyable as your time ashore.


Holland America Line's graceful, mid-sized ships are known for their generous amount of personal space. All staterooms feature luxurious, quilted pillow top mattresses, fine linens and towels, premium massage showerheads and Elemis Aromapure bath products.

Breathe in the invigorating sea air from a sun lounger beside one of the two outdoor swimming pools or join the action on the basketball or volleyball courts. When it comes to entertainment you’ll love the new ‘Music Walk’ experience across three exciting venues. The Lincoln Center Stage features world-class musicians performing chamber music. Billboard Onboard rocks the house with 50 years of chart-topping hits, while the best of Memphis blues is music to your ears at the popular B.B. King’s Blues Club.
