The newest addition to the Cruise and Maritime fleet

Combining beautiful, contemporary decor with a more traditional cruise style, CMV Vasco da Gama is small to mid-size, and a wonderful new addition to the CMV fleet. Vasco da Gama is an international, multi-generational ship and after joining in April 2019, Vasco da Gama will first sail a season of Australian cruises, taking both Australian currency and the euro.


There are a range of inside cabins and ocean-view cabins for twin or single occupancy, as well as luxurious suites. Single cabins are subject to a supplement and availability. Wheelchair accessible cabins are available on request, subject to availability. All cabins are en suite and come equipped with a television, hairdryer and personal safe.

Life on board

On board CMV Vasco da Gama, the emphasis is firmly on rest and relaxation, so you can stretch out on a lounger under the sun and gaze out towards the horizon. Offering comfort and contemporary style across 10 decks, there are plenty of options to keep you occupied on board. When you want to relax, head to the spa to take advantage of a wide range of treatments. There's also a card room if you fancy a few hands of bridge, and library for when you need a bit of peace and quiet with a good book. The CMV Vasco da Gama also offers a range of dining options, from fine dining in the Waterfront restaurants to more casual fare at Club Bistro. Plus you can look forward to daily afternoon tea, drinks in the Blue Room, and shows every night at the two-tier Hollywood Show Lounge!

You have a choice of six restaurants aboard CMV Vasco da Gama. In the three main Waterfront restaurants you can look forward to buffet breakfasts and five-course lunches and dinners where, unlike Cruise and Maritime’s other ships, dining will be flexible and not fixed to specific sittings. In addition, there are two speciality restaurants – The Grill and Chef’s Table, or alternatively, enjoy more relaxed buffet style meals at the Club Bistro.
