Another beautiful day here in Norway and Flam is wonderful with the winter snow on the high ground. We embarked our pilot at 1am this morning, so after an early start it was our scheduled 8am before we were alongside. Most of the Red Army were on tour today on the Flam Railway, which is 20 miles long and connects to the main Bergen railway. It left at 0850, with me on it as well. I really enjoy this scenic railway and it is certainly one of the prettiest journeys in the world.
Beautiful scenery combined with some nice walking routes. We were able to get you some nice photos and we hope you enjoy them.
5pm and it was time to go. I cannot believe this cruise is coming to an end, the time has just flown by. At 6:30pm we held our farewell cocktail party and formal dinner which was very well attended.
2 seadays now to our home port of Portsmouth so it’s full steam ahead. Thank you Norway for being you – absolutely beautiful!!! And a big thank you for the Northern Lights shows!!!
