Portsmouth

Saga Pearl II blog - Captains' blogs

7th April, 2018

Not a lot of wind today in Portsmouth so hopefully this is the start of spring for us. We are here again on our turnaround today and our next cruise is the Continental Tastes and Flavours cruise. We are going to Bordeaux for an overnight (one of my favourite ports!!) then Pasajes and Aviles in Spain, back up to Honfleur in France then to our homeport of Portsmouth on the 16th April – my going home day.

Lots of activity going on around the ship today with disembarkation, cabin preparation, loading stores, loading fuel – busy, busy.

We completed our mandatory passenger emergency drill at 4pm and then just before 5pm set sail from Portsmouth ready for our relaxing 2 seadays down to Bordeaux. Weather forecast is looking good for fair winds and following seas!!!

See you in Bordeaux – will take some good photos for you :)
