Extras during your holiday
Saga's Travel Extras
Maximise your experience with optional extras
At Saga, we include more in our holidays than the average travel company, but we still leave a few optional extras during your holiday that you can book, should you wish to maximise your experience. Ideally, it’s best to book these holiday extras before you go, but if you make an impulsive decision whilst away, you can speak to your Saga Representative.
Car Hire
We include travel between destinations and on our excursions, using local tour operators and ground handlers, but sometimes customers want to go off an explore on their own. Hiring a car gives you the flexibility and freedom to do this. Save 10% on global vehicle hire with Hertz and get a free additional driver.
Hotel room upgrades
A room upgrade offers a better-quality hotel room that often comes with a better view or improved facilities. Hotel room upgrades are available at a wide variety of our hotels and these can be booked before your trip online on the MySaga portal, or by contacting us. In some cases, you may be able to upgrade during your holiday.
Additional nights
Many of our holidays include holiday extensions so that you can bolt on a little extra time to our standard packages. Some of these extensions include a few days of relaxation at a beach resort or similar, whereas some just extend the number of days exploring. Whatever your reason to want to extend, you must contact us before you travel, to ensure you are booked on the correct flight.
Excursions
We aim to include an array of exciting excursions on each holiday, which you can enjoy without feeling overloaded. A list of optional excursions is also available in each destination. For some packages, these can be booked before you travel via MySaga. Generally, they are bookable in resort via your Saga Host or Tour Manager.
