Day 1 UK to Königswinter to Andernach

Travel by coach from Folkestone to Königswinter via Eurotunnel or ferry (a journey of approximately five hours, with comfort stops).
Embark Rex Rheni and enjoy dinner on board as your ship begins the journey to Andernach for an overnight mooring.
Day 2 Andernach to Beilstein 🎧

An optional excursion this morning reveals the world’s tallest cold water geyser, which rises 200 feet.
During lunch, continue to Beilstein where you’ll arrive this evening.
Day 3 Beilstein to Bernkastel-Kues 🎧

Set sail early from Beilstein and spend a relaxing morning on the water before arriving in the charming town of Bernkastel-Kues early this afternoon. It's one of the prettiest small towns in Germany where colourful Renaissance houses line the market square.
Perhaps join an optional walking tour and trip on the panoramic train.
Your ship moors here overnight.
Day 4 Bernkastel-Kues to Trier to Piesport 🎧

Depart Bernkastel-Kues early this morning to spend an afternoon in Germany’s oldest city, Trier, founded in 16BC by Emperor Augustus. It retains many relics of its illustrious past as you will discover on an included tour to see the spectacular Porta Nigra, one of the best-preserved Roman city gates in the world, and the cathedral.
Continue to Piesport this evening and moor here overnight.
Day 5 Piesport to Cochem

Following a leisurely morning, depart Piesport during lunch.
Admire terraced vineyards and attractive villages as you cruise downstream to Cochem, arriving this evening.
Day 6 Cochem 🎧

This small town commands the most beautiful of settings and has a romantic neo-Gothic castle which towers above the river and crowns a hill cloaked entirely in vines. Although most of the castle was rebuilt in the 19th century, the original 11th-century keep still survives.
You may like to explore it on an optional morning tour and take in panoramic views of the Moselle.
Your ship sets sail again this evening for the overnight journey towards Koblenz.
Day 7 Koblenz to Königswinter 🎧

Arrive in Koblenz early this morning. Its origins date back to Roman times and the city is a delight to explore. You may like to join an optional excursion that tours the city and visits Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, reached by cable car.
Continue your cruise early this afternoon to arrive in Königswinter before dinner.
Day 8 Königswinter to UK
Disembark your ship after breakfast and start your return journey to the UK.
