Enjoy an included tour of the city this morning. This tour starts with a panoramic coach tour of the most famous sights of Copenhagen including the majestic City Hall, dating from 1892, the imposing Christiansborg Palace and the colourful Nyhavn canal district.
You’ll visit the city’s most cherished landmark, the statue of the Little Mermaid, and Amalienborg Palace, home to the Danish Royal Family.
Please note: Some walking is required during your tour while there are six steps at the Little Mermaid and some cobblestones around Amalienborg Palace.
27/05/2023 Copenhagen to Stralsund to Vitte

Depart your hotel after breakfast and transfer to historic, UNESCO-listed Stralsund via a ferry from Gedser and a coach from Rostock. Lunch is included.
Embark MS Johannes Brahms this afternoon and enjoy dinner as you start your cruise, sailing towards Vitte on the island of Hiddensee and mooring there overnight.
28/05/2023 Vitte to Stralsund to Lauterbach

Vitte is the largest of the four villages on the small, peaceful traffic-free island of Hiddensee in the Baltic Sea. The island provides protected habitat for many bird species and opportunities for visitors to enjoy hiking, biking and horseriding. Here, fishing boats once unloaded their catch and the ferries now unload visitors. Stroll through the village or perhaps join an optional horse-drawn carriage ride around the island.
Later this morning, your ship cruises towards Stralsund, a lively maritime city with a vibrant waterfront. You can join an optional city walk which reveals an old nunnery, the cathedral and market square, or perhaps visit the Ozeanum – part aquarium, part marine biology museum.
Depart Stralsund early this evening and cruise to Lauterbach on the island of Rügen, mooring for the night.
29/05/2023 Lauterbach to Wolgast

This morning perhaps join an optional tour of Rügen Island, located off the Pomeranian coast in the Baltic Sea. Thomas Mann and the German Chancellor Bismarck were both fans of Rügen and its seaside resorts of Binz and Sellin.
In addition to its 37 miles of fine, sandy beaches, Rügen has a lot to offer, from large national parks to sleepy fishing villages and elegant manor houses.
Set sail again his afternoon and arrive in Wolgast early this evening.
30/05/2023 Wolgast to Swinemünde

Set sail early this morning and arrive in Swinemünde shortly after lunch.
An optional tour of historic Swinemünde is available this afternoon. Look out for the 150-year-old Angel’s Fort, built as a replica of Hadrian’s Mausoleum in Rome, and the Western Fort, the HQ of the Soviet Red Army until the 1960s and now a concert and exhibition venue. A Gothic church from the 15th century still contains its original altar and a 17th-century pulpit, while the 18th-century Christ the King church in the town centre holds a wooden replica of a ship in its nave. The town also has a museum dedicated to local deep sea fishing.
31/05/2023 Swinemünde to Szczecin

Arrive mid morning in Szczecin, following an early departure from Swinemünde.
Originally the German city of Stettin, the town of Szczecin was effectively the 'port of Berlin' and so suffered heavy Allied bombing during World War Two. Now a Polish city, Szczecin has been rebuilt to recapture some of its original style and appeal, with wide tree-lined avenues and parks, based partly on Haussmann’s 19th-century rebuilding of Paris.
Look out for the decorative Ducal Castle, the Cathedral Basilica of St Jacob the Apostle and the terraces of Waly Chrobrego, providing viewpoints alongside the River Oder.
Enjoy an included tour of Szczecin this afternoon.
Your ship remains moored here overnight.
01/06/2023 Szczecin to Schwedt to Eberswalde

Your ship continues to Schwedt this morning and you can embark on an optional morning excursion to the ruins of Chorin Monastery.
Sail from Schwedt this afternoon, passing the Niederfinow boat lift en route to Eberswalde, where your ship arrives this evening and moors overnight.
02/06/2023 Eberswalde to Berlin

This morning your ship sets sail in the early hours and will arrive in Berlin early this afternoon.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure, returning to your ship for dinner on board.
03/06/2023 Berlin

Disembark your ship after breakfast and look forward to an included tour of Berlin, which has one of the most fascinating histories in Europe.
Originally a small port on the River Spree, it had developed into the capital of the German Empire by 1871, and the growth of its influence as a cultural centre increased greatly up until its division into Soviet-controlled communist East Germany and capitalist West Germany.
The Berlin Wall was erected to stop East Germans escaping to the West for a better standard of living. With the fall of the wall in 1989, the city was reunified and slowly began to regain some of its former glory, although parts of the wall remain as a reminder of the Soviet era.
Stay overnight at a locally rated 4-star hotel in Berlin with breakfast and dinner included.
