Wake up in Amsterdam with plenty of time this morning for exploration, either independently or by joining an optional city tour which features a canal cruise.
Set sail before lunch and cruise on to reach Zaandam, where you have some free time this afternoon to explore independently.
Remain moored here overnight.
05/05/2021 Zaandam to Hoorn to Utrecht 🎧
Sail through breakfast to reach Hoorn mid-morning.
You'll have the whole afternoon in Hoorn to see the 16th and 17th-century town houses – the Dutch East India Company made it a wealthy trading town. Perhaps join an optional walking tour which also visits the interesting Westfries Museum. Set sail early evening and you’ll need your dancing shoes once more as your latest live music set takes place after dinner.
Arrive in Utrecht late tonight and moor overnight.
This morning perhaps take an independent stroll through the medieval heart of the city with its 112-metre high Domtoren tower or visit one of the city’s museums, alternatively you might prefer to join an optional two-hour guided walking tour of the city.
Set sail mid-afternoon with your latest live set to entertain you on board this evening as you cruise through the night bound for Germany.

Bid farewell to the Netherlands as you cruise through the morning to arrive in Cologne before lunch.
Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring this attractive city, famous for its imposing cathedral and for giving its name to 'Eau de Cologne'! The city was founded by the Romans and has long been an important trading centre. The vast Gothic cathedral that towers over the surroundings was started in 1248 as a pilgrimage church to house the relics of the three Magi. The two spires are 157 metres high, and were not completed until 1880.
The final night of your holiday is spent moored in Cologne, where you can enjoy a rousing musical finale on board this evening.

This cosmopolitan capital delights visitors with its pretty tree-lined canals – criss-crossed by over a thousand bridges – exquisite architecture and world-class art collections. Hoorn Walking Tour
Enjoy a guided walk around the attractive harbour town of Hoorn, once home to many an adventurous mariner – including Abel Tasman and J P Coen, founders of the Dutch East India Company. As a result of its early seafaring wealth, Hoorn boasts many pretty historic buildings. Notably the State Council building, which houses the Westfries Museum and its fascinating collection of ceramic tiles, silver, china and model ships. Across the way you’ll find the charming Weigh House and beyond that a wealth of winding streets to explore. Perhaps spend some time in the market square or savour the views from the yachting harbour before returning to your ship.
