Cruise around the tip of South America

23 nights departing January 27, 2027 from UK

Fly to Buenos Aires and enjoy an overnight stay at the locally rated 5-star Hotel Palladio on a half-board basis before embarking Spirit of Adventure for your all-inclusive cruise around South America in 2027.

See the sights of Argentina’s capital, which has a wealth of Art Deco, Art Nouveau and neoclassical architecture. The main square, Plaza de Mayo, is overlooked by the pink presidential Casa Rosada Palace. Begin the cruise south, calling at the Argentine city of Puerto Madryn, a new port for Saga Cruises, and enjoy an extended visit to the Falkland Islands. Stanley, the capital city, features Victorian buildings, an Anglican cathedral and lighthouse.

Next, Spirit of Adventure will navigate the southern tip of South America, Cape Horn and on through the Strait of Magellan to reach the remote city of Punta Arenas, an interesting mix of tin roofs and European influences set in southernmost Chile. Discover the dramatic wilderness of Patagonia, cruise past the glaciers of Amalia and Brüggen, and visit Puerto Montt, gateway to Chile’s Lake District, with its sapphire-blue lakes and ancient forests.

Disembark in photogenic Valparaiso, on Chile’s Pacific coast. This UNESCO-listed city, which flourished during the 19th century, has colourful hillside homes, reached by funiculars. Disembark and travel to the locally rated 4.5-star Hotel Pullman El Bosque in the heart of Santiago for an overnight stay on half board.

Finally, transfer to the airport for the overnight flight back to the UK.

This cruise also includes flights from London Heathrow to Buenos Aires, returning from Santiago de Chile with British Airways, half board at your hotels, as well as all the standard inclusions listed while on board your ship.

Included excursion in every port
