Alternatively, visit the animal sanctuary of Addo Elephant National Park—home to the densest population of elephants in the world.

Arrive 0700.

After breakfast disembark and transfer to the locally rated 4-star Aquila Private Game Reserve for a two-night stay. This 10,000-hectare conservancy is home to the Big 5 - elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino and leopard, as well as numerous antelope and bird species. Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival followed by lunch. This afternoon set out on an included game drive to spot some of wild game which roams freely in the park, and this evening perhaps try stargazing at your leisure.
