On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.
This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.
Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.
When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.

Cruise from the mountainous island of Corsica to the Balearics, calling at both Minorca and Majorca.
Finally, step ashore in the historic Moroccan port of Tangier. The Medina has a warren of cobbled streets with a chronology of architectural styles charting the city’s colonial past. Tangier’s lively atmosphere is ideally observed from a pavement cafe while enjoying a mint tea.

Watching over the entrance to the Mediterranean, stands the unmistakable limestone Rock of Gibraltar. At its base lies Gibraltar which is connected to the end of the Iberian Peninsula by a sandy isthmus and offers an intriguing blend of British and Spanish culture. Discover Gibraltar’s Palladian architecture and typically British sights, such as red pillar boxes and familiar highstreet chains. Alternatively, visit the military museum or ascend the limestone monolith by cable car for panoramic views and to meet the mischievous Barbary macaques. From the top of the Rock you can look out over two continents: Africa lies just 13 miles to the south, whilst Europe stretches to the north.

Cartagena is a historically significant city, a fact illustrated by its Roman theatre that was only unearthed in 1988. The surrounding hills are crowned by castles while the harbour is protected by an 18th-century sea wall. Set on the coast of Murcia, Cartagena has been a prized port since the Carthaginians wrapped it in ramparts and there are still portions of these Punic fortifications standing. Other attractions include the 13th-century cathedral in the old town as well as an array of modernist gems, such as the town hall.
Included excursion
See some of the city’s historic attractions.
Optional excursions
Journey through the foothills of the Sierra Carrascoy to the city of Murcia, capital of the province of the same name. Settled by the Moors in the 9th century and conquered by the Christians in the 13th, this bustling city features an array of architectural styles, from Gothic to Baroque.

Monaco exudes glitz and glamour, from the elite high rises overlooking the yacht-packed marina to the medieval quarter set atop Monaco Rock. The latter is crowned by the Place du Palais, where the Changing of the Guard ceremony plays out every day. It is also where Hollywood legend Grace Kelly wed Prince Rainier. Not-to-miss sights include the aptly named Grand Casino of Monte Carlo, Monaco Cathedral and the world-famous Grand Prix circuit.

The mountainous island of Corsica has been a French island since 1768 that nevertheless has a distinctly Italian vibe. The legacy of Napoleon Bonaparte can be felt throughout Ajaccio. As the birthplace of the French Emperor, Napoleon’s memory has been preserved in a museum in his childhood home, the grand cathedral where he was christened and in the square named after him. Explore the atmospheric squares and lanes of the old town, enjoy the relaxed air of the harbourside cafes or visit one of the fine museums, such as the Fesch which has paintings by Botticelli, Raphael and Titian.

The history of this Moroccan port on the Strait of Gibraltar, just 20 miles from the Spanish coast, goes back to the ancient Greeks and its beginnings are embedded in mythology. It is believed to have taken its name from Tingis, the daughter of Atlas, the mythical supporter of the Heavens. It was later ruled by the Romans and Arabs while Spain, Portugal, France and England also played important parts in the city’s diverse history. The city lies on a bay between two promontories and you can enjoy superb panoramic views if you head up to the ancient Kasbah, a former military fortress now full of elegant buildings and architecture while the Medina – the oldest part of town – is a warren of cobbled streets boasting a chronology of architectural styles charting the city’s colonial history. Perhaps sip a mint tea at a pavement cafe and watch the chaos of everyday life unfold around you.
