On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.
This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.
Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.
When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.
Enjoy the warmth of the winter sun
Begin by visiting a new port of call for Saga Cruises, Marin, which enjoys a scenic setting in Spain’s Pontevedra Bay and boasts a rich maritime heritage.
Arriving in the Canary Islands, visit Gran Canaria, where much of the island has been declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Its subtropical capital Las Palmas features cafe-lined squares and shady courtyards, and is home to the landmark Santa Ana Cathedral which is over 500 years old and features Gothic, Renaissance and neoclassical styles.
Continue to contrast the extensive laurel forests of La Palma, the greenest of the Canaries, with the black sand beaches and volcanic terrain of Teide National Park in Tenerife. Discover a mix of old and new sights, from the central square of Plaza de Espana, built in 1929, to the expressionist structure of its auditorium that resembles a wave, in the island’s capital Santa Cruz. Finally, an overnight visit to the green island of Madeira, with its laurel forests and Botanical Gardens, provides the opportunity to observe the celestial bodies of the clear night skies and concludes your all-inclusive Canary Island cruise in 2028.
