Greetings from beautiful Kefalonia
Our first port in Greece and what a lovely port call, with the main town of Argostoli our berth for the day. The island has many beautiful spots to visit from beaches to forests and the lovely fishing port of Fiscardo in the north.
The Ionian islands are usually a few degrees cooler than mainland Greece and the Aegean side which is shown by more greenery. Athenians often have breaks or holiday homes here to take a break from the summer heat and get away from the busy mainland.
We love Kefalonia. See you soon I hope.
