Spirit of Adventure blog

Progress continues

15th July, 2020

With the recent announcement that Spirit of Adventure will now embark on her inaugural cruise this November, construction has continued steadily at the shipyard. With a new deadline in place, the workers at Meyer Werft are now installing the propellers, and getting ready for ‘floating up’ in the wet dock. As the latest pictures show, the exterior is fully progressed, with the bulk of the remaining work to take place inside. One final addition will be the adding of the ship’s distinctive yellow funnel, which will be lowered into place on July 24, fingers crossed! The final stage before the ship is handed over to Saga, will be her sea trials. These are scheduled to take place in early September. Watch this space for more details.
