Arrecife Lanzarote

Saga Pearl II blog - Captains' blogs

13th January, 2019

Bit of a tight squeeze to fit on the pier today but made it and we are alongside just before 8am. Bit of a breeze but will be hot today and the weather has been and looks to be for the next couple of days to be amazing!

Lanzarote seems to be a bit more volcanic and desert like than the other Canary Islands and this has lent itself to Star Wars filming and other movies coming here to film. Many of our guests will see the surrounding area today in the comfort of an Air Conditioned Bus!! Perfect to say cool.

5pm and time to leave – it has been a great stay here in the Canary region for the last few days – we really have been blessed with the weather. Time to head north for 2 seadays up to El-Ferrol and the forecast is looking good a swell in the North Atlantic.

Full steam ahead………
