La Gomera

Saga Pearl II blog - Captains' blogs

6th November, 2018

The weather was certainly as forecasted here today with sunshine and light winds, quite often it can be windy here so the current conditions are very welcomed. Lots of guests on tour today, including me, going on the ‘Scenic La Gomera’ tour, taking us up into the mountains and getting some great views up there, along with the sunny beaches at sea level. Have attached some photos for your viewing pleasure – can you see the ship??

La Gomera is the 2nd smallest island of the Canary Island Group (smallest is El-Hierro) and is roughly circular in shape. As you can see from the photos the scenery is amazing and the National park is part of the World Heritage sites from 1986.

5pm comes about quickly today and with all onboard it was time to leave ready for Puerto de Rosario in Fuerteventura.

Full steam ahead!
