And what a beautiful sunny day it is here in Tarragona. Thank you!! Bit of a new port for Saga and it is always nice to return here. Only being south west of Barcelona by 60 miles it still feels different and has its own unique flavour and character. We were docked on the breakwater berth by 8am and many guests off and ashore, either on the shuttle or on tour or exploring themselves. I kind of get the idea of sitting and enjoying the sun, that is what I do on holiday, and many spots on the outside decks where filled with people basking in the sun and having a relaxing day. Tarragona really is a beautiful destination for those who want to explore Catalonian history and culture and of course it has great beaches!!
Great tours scheduled for today and proved to be very popular with our guests including the Ducal Monblanc and wine, Roman Tarragona, Scenic Tarragona and Ebro Delta and Apiarian Tradition. Many of our crew took their bikes out today for a bike ride and some went to the beach – jolly good idea.
5:30pm all aboard and time to leave. High speed run to our last port of call Cadiz, with a sea day in between so full speed ahead!! Thank you Tarragona for a great day!
