Another fabulous day here in Sunny Dublin and the weather is going to be warm today. We embarked our pilot at 6:30am this morning to beat the ferry traffic and then we turned in the basin and backed up to our berth at Ocean Pier 33 to go port side alongside. Many keen guests ready to explore the beautiful city and I am sure to try a few Guinness’s on the way.
Tours going around the city and surrounding area and this is a great way to see this landscape surrounding Dublin. With this being the Capital city there is lots to see and do either exploring yourself via the complimentary shuttle bus, or by an organised shore excursion. Busy day for the Captain today with meetings all day, but I have been to Dublin many times and I always enjoy my stay here.
Late sail this evening at 10pm, combined with a wonderful al-fresco dinner on the Verandah deck aft followed by a party on deck – how wonderful to finish off the final port day, before 2 seadays back home. Lots of activities planned for those seadays and the weather looks great to Dover. Cannot believe the cruise is coming to an end – but we have had a great time up in Iceland and around the UK. Next stop Dover!
