All about the Floriade

The Zundert flower festival has been running for over eighty years and continues to entice many visitors to see the amazing flower floats and displays on offer over a September weekend. It was first arranged as a way to honour the reigning monarch, Queen Wilhelmina, in 1936 and was so popular that it continued to pass to the next generation each year.

The large float takes huge teams to design, create, and display, and when the parade is over, you can join in with the after-party that takes place all over town. This event is not only great fun but offers you the opportunity to find out more about the amazing flowers grown in the Netherlands.
