This hotel’s excellent position right on the seaside promenade makes exploration easy, even if it’s only venturing to the numerous excellent ‘chirringuitos’ – temporary seafront structures set upon the sand and serving food and drink – which are so popular along the Costa.
The hotel is set back from the hustle and bustle of the centre of the busy resort by some two-and-a-half kilometres. The Los Alamos train station is just one kilometre away. The hotel is well served by pubic transport with a bus stop right outside providing easy access to the heart of Torremolinos and trains run regularly to Malaga or towards Fuengirola in the opposite direction.
Malaga airport is only a 30-minute drive away while the city centre is just 15 minutes from Torremolinos, where you can find museums, exhibitions, buildings and landmarks such as the famous old town and more fantastic beaches.
Flanked on one side by Guadalmar and its popular golf course and by Benalmadena with its famous marina on the other, this town boasts an excellent location for those who like to explore while on holiday.
The Costa del Sol is also known as the Costa del Golf, and for very good reason. Boasting more than 70 courses, the Province of Malaga and the Costa del Sol is the leading destination in Europe for the sport.
Torremolinos might have been the first sleepy village to have been transformed into a bustling resort on the Costa del Sol in the 1960s but forget any leftover negative associations – Torremolinos has reinvented itself.
The town has evolved as an attractive and appealing resort noted for its clean sandy beaches, wide choice of hotels and restaurants and unparalleled variety of entertainment, activities and nightlife.
Torremolinos has seven kilometres of coastline where you will find several beaches to enjoy during your stay, La Carihuela or El Bajondillo in addition to Los Alamos. The beaches of Torremolinos also have a great atmosphere and several chiringuitos so that you will be able to taste Mediterranean cuisine and the best ‘pescaito frito’ on the Costa and the area’s traditional, unique sardine ‘espetos.’
