On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.
This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.
Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.
When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.
Explore Northern Europe
Admire Northern Europe's springtime scenery on this all-inclusive cruise aboard Spirit of Discovery in 2027. Set foot in one of Sweden’s trendiest cities, Gothenburg, home to a variety of museums and galleries. In Poland, visit Gdansk, where the restored medieval quarter features Dutch-style terraces of townhouses and a Gothic town hall. Klaipeda, Lithuania’s third largest city, has had a turbulent history with repeated invasions and a devastating fire. Today, it has numerous sculptures, including a statue of Ann from Tharau and a Magical Mouse.
Continue to Latvia for an overnight visit to historic Riga, whose UNESCO-listed old town has an extensive collection of Art Nouveau architecture. Explore the cobbled streets and timeworn spires of UNESCO-listed Tallinn in Estonia. Then, contrast the Danish cities of Copenhagen, where highlights include Tivoli Gardens and Christiansborg Palace, with the rugged landscape and white sand beaches of Skagen, known for its artistic heritage. On the southern Skagerrak coast, discover a different side to Norway, with its lowland countryside interrupted only by the occasional painted waterfront house. Along its scalloped coastline lies the popular holiday resort of Kristiansand, founded in 1641 by King Christian IV. At its heart is the Quadrature, where streets follow an orderly Renaissance style grid pattern and feature charming wooden houses.

Once known as Memel, and part of the Prussian kingdom for centuries, it has had a turbulent history with repeated invasions from Sweden, Russia and Germany. Much of the city was destroyed by fire in the 19th century and rebuilt predominantly in an art nouveau style. Klaipeda has numerous sculptures, including a statue of Ann from Tharau and a Magical Mouse, a diminutive bronze sculpture reputed to convert good wishes into reality.

Reshaped by fire and war over the passing centuries, it has retained a wealth of architectural highlights. Chief among them is the UNESCO-listed old town and Europe’s most extensive collection of Art Nouveau architecture. Of particular note are the replica medieval guildhall – the House of the Black Heads, St Peter’s Church with its 403-foot-high spire and the still bustling Central Market.
