Cruises with a difference

Say no to crowded mega-liners and hello to our new smaller boutique cruises. We’ve designed our sister ships, Spirit of Adventure and Spirit of Discovery, with you in mind.

What you can expect

Your own private balcony and all-inclusive fine dining and drinks. And plenty of choice about how you spend your time – whether that’s in the spa, on the deck or at the theatre.

With no more than 987 guests at a time, our smaller ships mean you’ll get personal service from the moment you step aboard.

Your holiday starts at your door

Start your Saga cruise in style with a chauffeur to drive you to the ship – and it won’t cost you any extra. Once you’re on the quay, we’ll do the heavy lifting and take your bags to your cabin. And when your cruise is over, your chauffeur will be waiting to take you back home again.

Prefer to make your own way to and from the port? We’ll cover that too. Just let us know if you’d like flights from your local airport, rail or coach tickets, or a complimentary parking space waiting for you when you arrive.

VIP car service

We’re at your service

We’ve spent 70 years working on how to be the perfect host. And we’re so proud of our service that if you don’t love your first Saga cruise, we’ll happily refund your fare. That’s on top of our price promise, where we’ll refund you the difference or upgrade your cabin if we drop the price after you book.

Dinner is served

Take your taste buds on a journey of their own – all your meals are included on a Saga cruise. From breakfast trays delivered to your cabin or dining à la carte in our speciality restaurants (and everything in between), we’ve got something for even the most discerning palate.

Whatever your fancy, our executive chefs will introduce you to local flavours, all prepared using fresh ingredients. And with room service and afternoon tea included, plus snacks available at any time of day, you definitely won’t find yourself feeling peckish.

Discover life at sea

Our ships are packed with everything you need to get the most from your cruise. Work up a sweat in the gym, unwind in the spa or discover bestselling authors in the library. And alongside more traditional cruise activities like shuffleboard and deck quoits, you’ll also find some things you might not expect – like craft classes and workshops, a bridge club and even a virtual golf course. No day is ever the same on a Saga cruise.

Boutique bedrooms at sea, with added extras

We know how important personal space aboard our ships is for our guests. Our cabins showcase the best in contemporary, yet classic, British design. With 12 different grades available including luxury suites, there’s something to suit everyone. And the best part? They all come with their own private balcony.

Don’t forget that there are lots of thoughtful little extras included in your cruise too – like a door-to-door chauffeur service, free wifi, tips, carefully planned excursions and even 24-hour room service. You won’t want your trip to end.

Let us entertain you

Our entertainment programme has something for everyone. Listen to guest speakers, enjoy a classical recital or sing along at the cabaret.

Making the most of your time ashore

Exploration is a big part of the fun of a Saga cruise. That’s why we include sightseeing excursions in the price. We’ve designed them to give you a flavour of each port you go to.

Prefer to adventure alone? Talk to the on-board explore-ashore team. They have expert knowledge of each port to help you get the most from your shore time. Think of them as your own personal tour guide.

Wear it your way

Unsure of what to wear? It's your cruise, so when it comes to the dress code on board, we want everyone to be comfortable and able to enjoy themselves. That's why casual wear is the standard on board - especially during the day. For dinner, keeping it smart casual is the way to go. Just like you would at any other restaurant back home.

That said, getting smartly dressed up for the occasional formal night has long been part of the fun of cruising. So make sure you do have your fancier attire packed too! A glamorous long dress and sequinned shrug or pashmina are perfect partners for an elegant champagne dinner, and a tuxedo and bow tie are the ultimate in sophistication (although a dark suit or dinner jacket would also be just fine!). Those guests who have served their country and received a military medal, are also welcome to wear miniature medals on formal nights, should they wish.

The number of formal nights varies depending upon the length of your cruise:

4 days or fewer - there are no formal nights
5-7 days - one formal night
8-11 days - two formal nights
12-21 days - three formal nights
For cruises of 22 days or more, there will be one additional formal night per week
