Cagliari

Saga Pearl II blog - Captains' blogs

23rd October, 2018

Sunshine and clear blue skies greeted us today in Cagliari as we arrived a little bit before lunchtime and ready to go with the gangway. We had the downtown berth just by the breakwaters so within a very close distance our Saganauts are able to step ashore and into town. Many guests chose to explore ashore or go on tour and see this beautiful island, the holiday resort for the mainland Italians!! Beautiful beaches and a fun holiday atmosphere combined with historical feel sums up this place for me.

I had a little stroll ashore for an authentic Italian coffee, only 1 Euro for an expresso – cheaper than Starbucks!

We got some great photos for you here – as Judith Chalmers would say “Wish you were here”?
