Italian Waterways

A taste of la dolce vita

Few cities in their entirety are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and none contain more artistic masterpieces in one square kilometre than Venice.

The city is undoubtedly the highlight of a cruise in Italy, although its lagoon location in the Adriatic means it's not your typical river cruise destination!

From here you can explore the wildlife-rich waters of the island-studded lagoon, which is fed by the Po and Piave Rivers, and sail across the bay to explore such treasures as serene Chioggia and medieval Padua.
