Greetings from Tortola!
Ever wondered where we get those lovely plaques from in the Chart room?
Whenever we call at a port for the first time we usually have a small “ceremony” to exchange plaques with the local authorities and we are officially welcomed. In the days gone by this little exchange was carried out onboard with a small speech and ship tour to follow. Nowadays of course it is all outside.
I love BVI , they are so welcoming and what a lovely group of islands. Thank you BVI! See you again soon.
