Bilbao

Compared with our last port, Bilbao was an agreeably straightforward arrival. We made fast to the pier at Getxo at 0700, and were greeted with fine, sunny weather.
The centre of Bilbao is a thriving, modern, metropolitan district. Top sights include the Guggenheim Museum and the Fine Arts museum, both near the river’s edge. After a 9 hour stay, we cast off at 1700, bound for our next port, La Coruna.
